I was SO excited to try this place out with my son and husband. All we ordered was pizza and soda: soda was delicious. However, our experience with the pizza was less than stellar. All the reviews show how mind blowing the pizza is and how good it is. My son got a cheese pizza medium size, $17 why!? It’s a cheese pizza so not sure why so expensive but the cheese pizza was not edible. It was all pizza sauce, my son said it tasted like a cafeteria pizza and I would have to agree. Just check out the picture. My husband and I got the medium major pizza $30! Wwwwaaayyyy overpriced and the flavor was lackluster. My husband lives for pizza and said ours was lacking sauce and cheese it was a flat pizza with vegetables that just fell right onto the plate. $60 for 2 medium pizzas we were hoping for better but instead had an inedible cheese pizza. Maybe we just got unlucky but not a great experience. The actual atmosphere is on point though like all the reviews it is super fun.

I love pizza. This place was absolutely awesome. Got two different slices and both were phenomenal. Love that fact you can get custom slices with whatever toppings you want. The crust was a little thicker, hand tossed type crust, but it was so buttery and delicious. The jalapeños were so fresh and spicy. My server, Greg was absolutely top notch. Very attentive server, checked on me multiple times and took the time to really walk me through the menu and explain everything. He was supper accommodating and you could tell he cares. Absolutely great job! If I’m in town again, I will certainly visit!

Man I really was like a kid in a candy store being here was such a great experience and trip down memory lane. The atmosphere obviously is first class. The food was equally fantastic and the quantities blow your mind. 14” pizza is more like a 20”. The sauce and toppings are perfectly balanced. The salad? Oh man I took enough salad home to eat all weekend. The menu is absolutely correct a large salad served 8!! The calzone is piled high with tender meat. But for sure the service is excellent. If I was 30 years younger…..just kidding. But super sweet lady and very kind. Last but Not least take a walk around the property and really look around at the memorabilia. From the airplane second floor dinning to the live music inside at the coolest bar I’ve seen a some time. I’m definitely going back and taking a driver cause the deals on draft are pretty good 😊 Enjoy

Satchel’s Pizza in Gainesville continues to be one of those rare spots that never lets us down, no matter how many times we visit. The atmosphere alone is worth the trip—completely eclectic, filled with quirky, unexpected details that have you constantly looking around so you don’t miss a thing. It’s part restaurant, part art installation, and entirely memorable. This time, we ordered the pesto pizza topped with pepperoni and extra cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, with the pesto adding a fresh, savory twist that paired incredibly well with the pepperoni. The wait time was about an hour, but honestly, it was well worth it. Instead of just standing around, we headed to the back area, grabbed a couple of beers, and soaked in the laid-back vibe. The bartender recommended the Luna beer, saying it was his favorite—and now it’s ours too. Great food, great atmosphere, and a unique experience every single time.

Visited Satchel’s Pizza to celebrate friends achievement and it was such a fun and memorable experience out there.This place is not just about pizza...it’s about the whole atmosphere. The ambience is super unique and quirky, with creative decor everywhere you look. It has a really cool, artsy vibe that makes dining here different from a typical restaurant. Whether you sit inside or explore the outdoor seating areas, the place has a lot of character. The pizza was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavor. Everything felt homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The service was friendly, and the overall environment was lively but still relaxed. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends or family, enjoy good food, and experience something a little different. Definitely one of the must-visit places in Gainesville🍕✨
